Hand-Painted Nurseries, School & Library Murals
Hand-painted children’s murals bring imagination to life in nurseries, schools, libraries and play spaces. Each design adds colour, wonder and storytelling to interiors designed for young minds.
Reef on a wall
This wall mural, painted as stylised representation of a coral reef decorates a young boy's bathroom in a beach community in Southern California. I chose this abstract style for two reasons. First, its simplified design is likely to evolve with the boy's changing tastes. Second, both the floor tiles and the glass mosaic have a modern aesthetic that complements the overall look.

Painted paradise under southern skies
The nursery's ceiling and wall wildlife mural, highlights Australia's unique flora & fauna, with plush representations ranging from kangaroos to koalas. You'll find hatching sea turtles, chatting rainbow lorikeets, and a pink galah looking down from the ceiling, keeping an eye on this little boy's private "station". At night, the velvet sky of this paradise illuminates with thousands of twinkling stars, each sprinkled with fluorescent paint.

This Mural Features Australia's Best: Plush Marsupials!
All hand-painted animals are life-size, including kangaroos with a joey, butterflies and even a tree frog.
A pink galah watches over the boy's room from its eucalyptus tree, which is part of the painted ceiling. This enchanting space truly captures the essence of Australia! (Ceiling Painting: 11 ft x 14 ft)
This charming boy sneaked in from South America!
Library extraordinaire
The principal briefed me to paint a mural with more books in the student library. Hm! How can we make them stand out? Supersize those books across an immersive wraparound mural that spans three walls. And don't forget to make them really colourful and fun. After all, we can never have enough books for our kids to enjoy and immerse themselves in, right?
After discussing with the principal, we came up with an idea for an "XXL Donation Library Mural". The plan is as follows: parents and guardians can contribute a monetary donation towards the library and, in return, have their names hand-painted on the spine of a book of their choice. And that's exactly how it happened.

Can you find the storybook heroes hidden in this mural?
Look closely! The Library Mouse is tucked away with a book! What about the caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland? Books set our imagination free, and that's why everybody is out for play, including the encyclopaedia's butterflies!

Fit for a Princess: Mural Walls of the Castle of Versailles & Gardens
A precious little baby girl became the princess of her own hand-painted nursery, complete with a magical Castle of Versailles scene.
The royal treatment: hand-painted Castle of Versailles scene, miniature palace, and trompe-l’oeil initials—your Majesty, please enter!
"Tip! If you choose a grand theme like the Castle of Versailles, consider adding playful elements for a child, such as birds or lollipop trees."

A World Made Just for Them
From mystical castles to chirping birds in gentle skies, nursery murals create the first stories your child will grow up with. If an idea is already blooming, share it here—I’d love to help bring it to life.
